My work is rooted in emotional sensitivity-something I’ve felt deeply since childhood. I was often told I was too emotional, too messy, too disorganized. But when I make art, those parts of me aren’t flaws-they’re my greatest strengths.
Painting gives me permission to feel freely, to explore the chaos, and to express what words often can’t. My portraits reflect a deep curiosity about human emotion-conveyed through facial expressions, color, and texture. Each piece is a conversation with feeling, a moment of empathy captured in time.
Art is where I embrace my sensitivity, not hide it. It’s a space where I don’t have to mask my authentic self. My portraits are a gift to myself and others-honoring the parts of us that are often misunderstood.

San Francisco Drop Off
My clients commissioned this piece that I painted in Denver. I happened to have a job in San Francisco so I was able to deliver the special piece of David Bowie and Jerry Garcia playing on stage together.

A live painting I did for a breast cancer fund raiser. My jaw was to the floor when I heard I would be painting at the famous Mirus Gallery. Such an honor.
I painted this mural by myself on a ladder in Mountain View, California. Solo murals are not for the weak.
VOYAGE LA
Interviews are always a great way to reflect on creative processes. I was especially proud of this mural I designed and painted by myself.
